Affiliate disclosure

vestrovia.online is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly what that means, what it costs you (nothing) and what it does not buy (our conclusions). It is the long version of the notice at the top of every page.

The arrangement in one paragraph

Black Shark s.r.o. takes part in affiliate programmes. When you follow a link marked “partner link” and go on to subscribe to the product, the vendor or its affiliate network pays us a commission on that referral. You pay no more than you would by going to the vendor directly. The commission comes out of the vendor’s marketing budget; nothing is added to your price, and no discount is withheld from you for using our link.

How you can tell which links are commercial

Every commercial link on this site carries all of the following, and we consider a link that is missing any of them to be a bug:

• the words “Partner link” visible inside the button itself, including buttons in the sidebar;
• a short note directly beneath the button saying that we may earn a commission and that it costs you nothing extra;
• the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which tell search engines the link is paid placement;
• a disclosure bar at the very top of the page, above everything else, and a disclosure box immediately after the headline — both before any promotional content.

Links to sources — test laboratories, public authorities, vendor documentation — are not commercial, earn us nothing and are not marked as partner links.

What the commission does not affect

• Our conclusions. We are paid per referral, not per recommendation. No advertiser sees the text before publication, and none has a veto.
• Your price. Affiliate tracking does not change what the vendor charges you.
• What is written about the product’s weaknesses. The main guide on this site states which heavily advertised features the reviewed tier does not include, notes that one bundled component is available separately at no cost, and tells readers that the protection built into their operating system may be sufficient. Those paragraphs cost us money, and they stay.

What we receive, and what we do not

We receive aggregated reporting from the affiliate network: clicks, qualifying sales and commission owed, by campaign. We do not receive your name, your e-mail address, your payment details, what you bought or any identifier that would let us recognise you. Nor could we match a sale to a visitor: this site sets no cookies and keeps no visitor records at all. See the privacy policy.

The redirect page

Partner links pass through a short internal page on this domain (the /c/ path) which forwards you to the vendor or network. It exists so that a campaign parameter arriving in the page URL can be attached to the referral, and so that a link can be changed in one place. It sets no cookie and stores nothing. It is excluded from search indexing in our robots.txt because it is plumbing, not content.

If you would rather not use our link

Then do not. Type the vendor’s address into your browser yourself, or search for it. You will get the same product on the same terms, we will earn nothing, and nothing on this site will behave differently. We would rather you use the article and buy elsewhere than feel steered.

Advertising we buy

We also pay advertising platforms to bring readers to this site. Those platforms prohibit misleading claims, unsubstantiated superlatives and manufactured urgency — and so does our own editorial policy, independently of what any platform requires.

Independence and trademarks

Participation in an affiliate programme is not a partnership, an endorsement or a sponsorship. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gen Digital Inc. or any other company named in our articles. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
